That photo of Carpenter was taken in the SkyDome, which was, of course, where he started his career.
Completely off-topic: I just finished up a book I bought at an outlet store a little while ago for four bucks: Whitey Herzog's You're Missin' A Great Game. If you haven't yet, you should pick it up: lots of great tidbits about the '80s Cardinals (including great reminiscing about the one, the only, Joaquin "The Goombah" Andujar).
