Wade Boggs Drinking Beer on a Horse
This story, which I have been replaying in my noggin once a week for the last five or so years, never gets old. In fact, I believe that we, as a Nation, need to consciously replace our mental image of this picture with this:

And here I was for all those years, thinking that Wade Boggs' greatest skill lay in blasting doubles off the Monster day after day... when it turns out the man could drink like a school of fish. (It was American beer -- light beer as well -- but still an impressive amount of liquid.)
